Cancellation Policy for Notary Services
Effective Date: April 13, 2026
1. Appointment Cancellations
Appointments may be canceled by notifying us at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled time.
Cancellations made within the required notice period will receive a full refund or may be rescheduled at no additional charge.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee as stated on our website.
2. No-Shows
If you fail to attend your scheduled appointment without prior notice, the full service fee may be charged and is non-refundable.
3. Rescheduling
You may reschedule your appointment without penalty if you notify us at least 24 hours in advance.
Rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the appointment may be treated as a late cancellation and subject to applicable fees.
4. Provider-Initiated Cancellations
In the event that an appointment must be canceled or rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the reasonable control of either the notary or the client, a full refund will be issued. Unforeseen circumstances include, but are not limited to:
- Severe weather events or natural disasters (such as storms, floods, earthquakes, or fires)
- Medical emergencies or sudden illness affecting the notary or client
- Accidents or unexpected hospitalization
- Family emergencies
- Unanticipated legal or regulatory changes that prevent the notarial act
- Transportation breakdowns or significant, unavoidable travel disruptions
If such circumstances arise, please notify us as soon as possible. We will work with you to reschedule your appointment or issue a full refund to your original payment method in accordance with our cancellation policy. In such cases, you will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule at no additional cost.
5. Refunds
Refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method.
